Waves Spot Surf Camp connects international travellers with trusted local Moroccan accommodation, surf instructors, guides and activity providers to create complete and memorable travel experiences.
Taghazout is a small fishing village on the Atlantic coast north of Agadir that happens to sit beside some of the most consistent waves in Africa. People have been coming here to surf since the sixties, and the village has grown around that without losing what it was.
We built Waves Spot because organising a trip here from Europe is harder than it should be. Finding a room, a surf instructor, a driver from the airport, someone to take you to Paradise Valley — each one is a separate conversation, usually in a language you do not speak, often ending in a price you have no way to judge.
We do not own the houses you sleep in or run every activity ourselves. What we do is work directly with the people who do — the families running the guesthouses, the instructors who grew up surfing these breaks, the drivers, the cooks, the guides — and combine their services into one package with one price.
You book once. We handle the room, the boards, the meals, the transport and the driver waiting at arrivals. Our partners get steady, fairly paid work. You get a trip that actually feels like Morocco rather than a resort that could be anywhere.
That the surfing is genuinely good and genuinely safe. That the food is what people here actually eat. That a beginner who has never stood on a board and someone who has surfed for ten years both get a week worth taking. And that the money you spend stays largely in the village that hosts you.

We check availability with our partners and email you confirmation and payment details within 24 hours.
Your driver is at Agadir when you land. From there, everything is handled.

I arrived never having surfed and left riding proper waves. The instructors read the conditions every morning and put us exactly where we needed to be. Paradise Valley on day four was the best day of my year.
